You asked for it, and we listened! For one night only, Saturday November 7th Jason’s Woods is going dark. Our first ever, BLACKOUT!
Jason’s Woods is turning the lights down and cranking the intensity level up!
WARNING!
Participants, if not choosing to opt-out, will experience a light touch, non-aggressive but more intense environment.
A “light touch” or light-contact rule means that actors are allowed to make gentle, non-aggressive physical contact with guests, while strict boundaries remain in place.
What “Light Touch” Means
- Light Contact: Actors may lightly brush against your shoulder, tap your back, touch your legs from the knees down, graze your hair, or guide you gently.
- No Forcible Movement: Unlike extreme “full-contact” or high-intensity actor tiers, light-touch tiers do not allow actors to push, shove, grab aggressively, restrain, or pull guests away from their group.
- Non-Consent or Opt-Out A specific marker/glow necklace will be given to those customers choosing to not participate in the light touch experience.
Customers choosing to opt-out
These customers will be given a glow necklace at a the time their pre-purchased tickets are scanned or their tickets are purchased at the gate. These customers will be asked to wear the glow necklace throughout the attractions to signify to our actors that they Do Not want to participate in the light touch experience.
Blackout is highly charged, intense event! ALL participants must sign a waiver. It is recommended that you are 18 years or older. Anyone under the age of 18 choosing to participate must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
